The boy who broke the bank.
                           Ruskin Bond.

Listening Is a skill which was most human being passes but just to listen to the other person talk with attention is more important and there for just to listen and to listen with attention and understanding is very important and necessary which is rightly said in the provokes
“Listening requires more intelligence than speaking, listening look easy but is not simple”.

In this story the boy who broke the bank. We have Nathu who is Sweeper in Pipalnagar bank own by Seth Govind came Nathu who has coming from lower middle class family and still he has not get his payment from the manager of the bank at this movement Nathu wants his money but listen to Nathu and he does not understand the difficulties of Nathu.
But on the other hand Sitaram who friend of Nathu understands the difficulties of his friends and empathizes with him by looking for another job for his friend. There are some other character also who listen the problem of Nathu and takes it to the another level Mr. Srivastava is one of them who listen to sitaram and the problem of Nathu but instead of empathizing  with Nathu .She starts talking about the worse condition of Pipalnagar bank.
Mr.Srivastava told to Mr.Bhushan about the poor condition of the bank by saying Seth Govind Ram’s bank cannot pay its employers when Mr.Bhushan here this she interpreted the talk in unexpected way because she reacts by say.
If they cannot pay the Sweeper they must be in a bad away none of the others could be getting paid either.
This talk has also heard by Mr.Kishore whose owns one photographic shop and after hearing this he express his happiness that he does not has any account Seth of Govind Ram bank, but he inform his friends Deepchand who is having barber shop about shocking news .He says to Deepchand.

“The Pipalnagar bank is about to collapse and also suggested him if he had account in that bank than get it bank as soon as possible.”

Deepchand who was cutting the hair often gentle men got a big shock and out of them shock he cuts the right ear his customer .The customer was in pain because of two reasons, out of that the one was that Deepchand cut his ear and he was worried about the banks as soon as he heard .He dial the number of Seth Govind Ram but Seth Govind ram was not at his home. He was in holidays and Kashmir when the gentle man came to know about Seth Govind Ram .He inform this to Deepchand.
When Deepchand heard than news about elopement of Seth Govind Ram .He said “The bird has flown”. This news spread in the town with the rapidity of forest fire .One incident add more humor in the situation the beggar namely old Ganpath when Ganpath heard this news .He started leaping to his feet. This sight surprised everyone because no one had ever seen Ganpath walking on his speed and hearing his news he started running and for the great surprise he had been begging to the village people for so many years and he had thousand rupees in savings.
Now everyone started gathering in front of the bank and started throwing stone and glasses on the bank .The manager pleased to the village people but they did not stop and after damaging most of the parts of banks. They have depresses Nathu arrive on the bank next day and saw everything with his own eyes and his last dialogues were “Who would have thought the bank would collapse!”.
By The story the  boy who broke the bank Ruskin bond try to convey the appropriate way of listening and at the sometime best way to cultivate listening skill and  by the story he wants to deliver the message.
‘Listening is the begging of the understanding.’
If the manager would have listening the problem of Nathu with understanding the entire mess would have never happened.
