Human Interest: - A Service of love.

Human Interest: - A Service of love
                                          Joe Lcorabee

This is a very tender story about to what extended does one go in order to protected his or her art against strong materialist ideologies of today’s modern world.
At the superficial level .This seems to be a very simple story about a couple and the problems and that day face in their life. There are main two characters named Joe and Delia .One is from the Middle West and another from the south. Both of them met in a studio where in they had a number of Art and Music students, fail in love and as a result got married very soon. They shifted later on in a flat and were enjoying each other company. Joe was a painter and studied in the class of great majesty on the other hand Delia was studying under Rosenstack. They were individuals with clear goals in their mind. They had a wonderful time together as long as the mind lasted. Later on the problems started creeping as there was absolutely no money to buy anything required or even to pay their fees.
Dalia therefore decided to give lesions of music to students and started searching for pupils. One day she came up in high spirits saying that she was finally got a student who happens to be the daughter of general A.B.Pinkney.She said that she had to give three lesions a week and each lesion would pay her five dollars. Everything seemed to fall in place and later on even Joe decided to sell his paintings as he did not like the idea of Delia working alone.

On the next Saturday Joe came home early with eighteen dollars and was extremely happy. He said tha5t there was a buyer who was a fat man who took all his painting and even ordered anthers. Both of them seemed to be happy and on the same day Dalia came after half an hour with her hand bandaged heavily. For which she give excuse that ion serving the rabbit Clementine spilled a great lot of boiling hot food on her hand. Joe seemed to be upset with the answer but later on said that even his painting were getting hand some amounts.
Joe again asked Delia about the reason of her hand getting burnt and along with that asked about where did she exactly worked. Delia could not hide both the truth and her tears and said that she ironed shirt in the big 24 Street laundry and along with that she confessed that general Pinkney and Clementine were imagery character .Even Joe said the truth at the end saying that there was no one from Peoria to buy his painting. He in fact worked on the engine of that laundry for the same period of the time and that even the buyer from Peoria was an imaginary character.
This heart touching story carries along with it .Her beautiful underlines meaning
                            “Art should never be sold.”
It is as if selling our soul to people it should be exclusively for admiration and not for any material tic gains In spite of several monetary problems Joe and Delia, not even for a split second thought about selling their art. Every art from is the the expression of one’s soul and one’s deeps emotions .They should savored and should not be seen as commodities for getting monetary gain. Both the character in this story do exactly that art was their love and one should not materialize love as it is selfless emotion of one’s own being. Every artist should do this bit in
                              “Service of their love”.
