The shortnotes about the " Dalit Literature".



              Dalit literature
                            



 Introduction:-
                   The very word “Dalit” is not new to us appropriately it was used in the 1930's  as Hindi and Maratha translation of “Depressed Classes”.
                A term the British use for what are now called the sedual  caste in 1970’s .The Dalit panthers revival the term and expanded its references to including sedual  tries poor peasants women and all those being exploited political , economic and in the name of religious .SO Dalit is not a caste it is a symbol of change and revolution.

Dalit Literature:-

                    Dalit literature is a kind of literature which deals with the dalits it also deals with the oppressed class under Indian caste system which in directly means the Dalits though Dalit narrative have been a part of the Indian social narratives since 11TH CENTURY ON WAS IT PROTRAYS  Dalit as half naked an exploited  Dalit literature emerged in to promises and as a the corrective voice after 1960 starting with Marathi , Hindi , Canada , Telugu and Tamil languages  though self narratives like poems short stories and autobiographies known for contribution to Dalit politics .It is often compared with the African American literature especially in depiction of issue of Russian segregation  and injustice.

 Amebedcaris Sahitay (Dalit literature):-

                              In 1993, Amebedcaris Sahitay perished was organized  first Akhil Bhartiy Amebedcaris Sahitay Samelan in Maharashtra.The special purpose for that was to re conceptualize and transform “ Dalit Literature” into “ Amedicaris Literature” after the name of its modern age hero doctor B.R. Ambedkar slowly and standby got popularity and second Samelan was organized in 1994 following the third Samelan in 1996. Amebedcaris Sahitay parishad was from 1992 with the aim to contact people with common ideals, problems and explanation of those who joined the Samelan expressed their anguish and philosophy though there literature against the oppression and to make their present felt in the world.

 The history of Dalit literature:-

                                The first Dalit writer was Maratha , Chennai in 11th century who was considered to be the father of Vachana poetry another poet who got much popularity was dohara Kakkaha who was born as Dalit in the 28th century .The term of Dalit came into use 1958 in the first confesses of Maharashtra .Dalit literature society was held at Mumbai the movement was driven by thinkers like Jyotiba Fule and Bhimrao Amededcar of Dalit writing in Maharashtra .his first collection of story’s “ When I have canceled my caste “published in 1963. Namdeo Dhasal was also one of the famous writers of Dalit literature.
                         There are many Dalit writers like Arun Kamle, Krishnan Kamle, Raja Thale, Daya Pawar, Banbha Madhav, Laxshamna Mane, Laxshan Gaikwad, Bhimsen Dethe Amdaddash shinde; Mayur Vhatkar etc belong to Maharashtra.
